Training Programs...

Our training programs are individually tailored to accommodate our clients (dog's and handler's) needs and are structured to help our clients achieve a relationship that would allow them to attain American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizen Certification, if they so desire.

We offer the following training programs:

Group Classes
All of our group classes are taught in Alpharetta at the Alpharetta Animal Hospital (see directions) on Sunday afternoons and evenings to help our clients avoid weekday rush-hour traffic and to accommodate their busy weekend schedules.

We Board and Train Your Dog
This is a program for owners who would like their dog trained while they are on vacation or business, or simply do not have the time to participate in obedience classes or private lessons. The We Board and Train Your Dog program is Canine Relations’ premier service, typically requires 14 to 21 days to complete and your dog stays in a trainer's home (home environment). Your dog's accomplishments after completing this program will include walking on-leash without pulling, off-leash come, sit, sit-stay, down, down-stay, all with real-life distractions, and solution of up to two behavior problems (e.g., jumping or barking). You will receive a 2-hour private lesson (turnover) where you are trained to lead, understand, handle, and maintain your trained dog.

The cost for the We Board and Train Your Dog program is $65 per day, or $910 for 14 days and $1,365 for 21 days. The duration of the stay depends on the dog’s individual needs and more duration may be required. Special training equipment may also be required and would be an additional charge.  Contact the Canine Relations office to check availability for your preferred dates in our We Board and Train Your Dog program and request a Registration Form.

Maintenance Boarding and Training
This service is for dogs that had obedience training, know the commands sit, down, stay, walking on-leash without pulling and come when called, but need a refresher to tune things up. A trainer will take care of your dog while it stays in the trainer's home (home environment) and will improve your dog's current behavior with refresher training. Excellent times to take advantage of this service are while you are away on vacation or business.

The cost for the Maintenance Boarding and Training program is $45 per day. Contact the Canine Relations office to check availability for your preferred dates in our Maintenance Boarding and Training program and request a Registration Form.
